A look for the Iceland Gull on Boston tip was a nil result after 3 hours of searching from Havenside LNR. A Sparrowhawk and Kestrel made an appearance and 1 Peregrine over. There was 1 Golden Plover amongst the Redshank and Lapwing.

I then went to look at gulls on Kirkby gravel pits. No success here on North pit or landfill site, however there were 12 Redshanks, 8 Little Grebes, 7 Shoveler, 4 Grey Heron and 2 Goldeneye. Took an image of this Herring Gull that has been ringed with a metal ring on the left leg but no hope of reading it.
